Complete your first day of training as a junior biosecurity officer in this fascinating workshop with the Peel Harvey Biosecurity Group. Learn how to track feral animals and create your own WANTED poster. (Ages 6 to 10)

JOIN US for our BUZZ OFF! Biosecurity, Bugs and Bees school holiday program!

Buzz the blue-banded bee is off on an adventure, but her day is full of pesky surprises! Join us as we follow Buzz and meet the invasive pests she encounters, like fruit flies, polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB), and feral honey bees. Learn how to spot these biosecurity threats and discover ways to help protect our environment. Plus, each child will get to build their very own native bee hotel to take home! (Ages 8-12)

Community organisations of the Peel Harvey region have the opportunity to book one of our informative, fun and interactive programs and give children in their community the chance to learn about native animals and pests that affect their region. 

Program duration: 1 hour

FREE OF CHARGE for organisations in the Peel Harvey region (all locations within the following LGAs: City of Mandurah, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, Shire of Harvey, Shire of Waroona, Shire of Murray).
