Curriculum Overview
Peel Harvey Pesky Pests Curriculum Package is a Science based program with Australian Curriculum linked activities written for the Peel Harvey Biosecurity Group. It is aimed to be used by teachers of F-6 students in schools of the Peel Harvey Catchment and surrounds.
The program highlights declared pests of the Peel Harvey Catchment and endeavours to develop an awareness of these pests amongst local schools to help establish a more sustainable future for the primary producers of the region.
This is a unique opportunity for teachers and students to work in collaboration with the Peel Harvey Biosecurity Group and become a part of this local education initiative and discover what is really living in the school grounds and the wider community.
